Early Life
Mengu was born to an Angami Naga family in 1987. In childhood, she wanted to become an air hostess but at the age of 6, she used to sing at her school functions, society and church gatherings. This is how she got into this singing and acting profession.
Career
She started her professional career with her debut album “Love Is All We Need” was released in February 2012. She made her acting debut in 2013 with the short Naga film “True Love will Wait” but she became a well-known name in every house in the north-east with the release of her movie “Nana: A Tale of Us” starring Zhokhoi Chuzho as a lead male actor.
